Veteran owned and Operated
Rocky is a retired combat veteran with 20 years of active military service. He is a certified police K9 trainer/instructor, certified explosives canine handler, certified narcotics K9 handler and an active sports decoy. He has also completed a two-month internship using all positive dog training for pet dogs.

Training and Boarding
Dog training isn’t just about your pet. In fact, the most integral part of the training process is you. That’s why we work with you to make sure you have the knowledge and tools you need to help your dog excel at whatever your goals may be. There is a reason militaries and police departments around the world use the term "K9 Handler Teams."
BOARD AND TRAIN
Board and trains are a perfect way to get results faster. After an evaluation of what your dog needs training in we will agree on the appropriate length of the stay. As the stay nears an end we will schedule sessions with you and your dog so we can work with you both together!
BOARDING
Bear State Kennels strives to provide your canine, whether companion or working a safe, low stress experience. We offer both indoor & outdoor boarding options to meet your needs. At this time we only have availability for 2 indoor boarders at a time and 4 outdoor so please try to book in advance. Included in both options is treats and lots of play/potty breaks. As we have several acres of land there will also be plenty of exercise opportunities. We do recommend you supply your own food to prevent stomach problems however we can also provide the high quality food we use (Victor Professional) for an additional fee.
